Jude Bellingham Played in a forward role on the right while also put in dirty work. Demonstrated flashes of quality but dragged an effort wide. Withdrawn towards the end by Rogers, a fellow player, following a yellow card. 7

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with England’s clearest opportunity before halftime, his shot well saved by the opposing goalkeeper. As Quansah holding position, he was forced to stretch the play out wide although his balls into the box were hit and miss. Substituted with 15 to go. 6

Harry Kane The difference-maker scoring seventy-seventh and seventy-eighth goals at international level. The first a classic opportunist's goal and his next a classy finish with his head after peeling away off his defender. At 32, he’s only getting better and the side stand a real opportunity next summer with him up top. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Found it tough to get into the game on the left flank. Was presented with a decent opportunity following a pass by the midfielder yet the keeper made the save. His replacement made much more of effect when substituted. 5
